§ IV
We describe the engagement process on every practice page, but the first two steps are the same regardless of which practice your matter falls under.

Within two hours of receiving your enquiry (during business hours), the managing partner will read it and respond personally with one of three outcomes: a confirmation that your matter falls within our practice and a proposed time for an initial call; a recommendation that your matter is better suited to a different type of firm or counsel, with a brief explanation; or a request for one or two additional details before we can assess the fit.

The initial thirty-minute call with the partner is complimentary. Its purpose is to give you enough information to decide whether to instruct us — not to begin chargeable work. If we accept the instruction, we will provide a written scope of work and fee estimate before any billable hours are recorded.
Sending an enquiry to Vetrov & Partners does not create a
solicitor–client relationship. A relationship is formed only
when a signed engagement letter is in place.

Vetrov & Partners is a Russian-qualified law firm. For matters
governed by foreign law or requiring local admission in other
jurisdictions, we collaborate with trusted counsel in the
relevant jurisdiction.
